Пока одна часть социально и экономически активных граждан выдает в эфир "последнее китайское предупреждение", другая часть - активно расплачивается за последствия "мирового финансового кризиса" - вкалывают за три копейки, попутно теряя веру во все хорошее, продают почки, режут своих детей почем зря и кончают жизнь самоубийствами.

Подобное положение дел, конечно же, вызывает "серьезную озабоченность" (tm) мировых организаций, которые без устали штампуют свои коммюнике, фиксируя, тем самым, достигнутый "статус кво" -  богатые богатеют быстрее, чем беднеют бедные.

LONDON: A growing rich-poor income gap is the biggest risk the world is facing for the next decade, while failure to create a sustainable healthcare system may create social unrest in countries like India, the World Economic Forum (WEF) said today.

И если международные организации просто выносят на повестку дня имеющиеся вопросы, то на уровне отдельных стран ситуация не особо меняется и власти в бОльшей степени благоволят людям состоятельным и влиятельным даже в прогрессивных и продвинутых странах.

Polls say Washington favors the rich

The public has been taking notice. Almost two-thirds of Americans say federal policies currently favor the wealthy, and 57 percent say the government should try to reduce the gap between the wealthy and those less well-off, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll in December.

Люди мотают все это на ус и мысленно желают "всех благ" богатым и состоятельным гражданам. Но и богатые, надо сказать, не остаются внакладе и огрызаются, как могут.

Так, к примеру, один из основателей американского венчурного фонда "Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers" Том Перкинс (Thomas Perkins) сравнил прессинг, который оказывают простые граждане на богатых людей, с прессингом, которому подвергались евреи перед Второй мировой войной. В своей статье "Progressive Kristallnacht Coming?" Перкинс без обиняков заявляет, что все козлы и пидарасы - один я весь в белом богатых граждан травят очень уж сильно и как бы эта травля не переросла в полноценные события "Хрустальной ночи"

Regarding your editorial "Censors on Campus" (Jan. 18): Writing from the epicenter of progressive thought, San Francisco, I would call attention to the parallels of fascist Nazi Germany to its war on its "one percent," namely its Jews, to the progressive war on the American one percent, namely the "rich."

From the Occupy movement to the demonization of the rich embedded in virtually every word of our local newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle, I perceive a rising tide of hatred of the successful one percent. There is outraged public reaction to the Google buses carrying technology workers from the city to the peninsula high-tech companies which employ them. We have outrage over the rising real-estate prices which these "techno geeks" can pay. We have, for example, libelous and cruel attacks in the Chronicle on our number-one celebrity, the author Danielle Steel, alleging that she is a "snob" despite the millions she has spent on our city's homeless and mentally ill over the past decades.

This is a very dangerous drift in our American thinking. Kristallnacht was unthinkable in 1930; is its descendant "progressive" radicalism unthinkable now?
